Safelite Vegas General Manager Wins Bronze in 2013 Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service

Steve Parker receives Customer Service Manager of the Year award

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – March 4, 2013 - Safelite AutoGlass’s Las Vegas General Manager Steve Parker was presented with a Bronze-level Stevie® Award for Sales & Customer Service in the “Customer Service Manager of the Year” category in the seventh annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top sales awards, contact center awards, and customer service awards. The Stevie Awards organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business AwardsSM and International Business AwardsSM.

More than 1,100 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year’s competition, an increase of 10 percent over 2012. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 120 professionals worldwide, acting as preliminary judges.  Entries were considered in 30 categories for customer service professionals. More than 100 members of eight specialized judging committees determined Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging this year.

Parker oversees Safelite’s Las Vegas market, which includes six locations and approximately 60 employees. For the last three years, his market has ranked among the top three markets for customer satisfaction scores.

Safelite® uses the Net Promoter Scores (NPS) method to measure customer satisfaction. Parker’s market has continually improved its NPS, and also is consistently above the company-wide average.
