COLUMBUS, Ohio - October 23, 2008 - Steve Miggo has joined Safelite AutoGlass, the nation's largest vehicle glass repair and replacement company, as senior vice president of human resources and leadership development.
"Steve is a seasoned executive with a strong business foundation and a wealth of human resources and leadership development experience," said Tom Feeney, president and CEO of Belron US, the parent company of Safelite AutoGlass. "His experience will serve us well as we focus on our growth strategy that will ultimately require additional staffing, which in turn will involve more recruiting, training and benefits management."
Miggo joins Safelite from Limited Brands, where he served for the last three years as associate vice president of human resources. Prior to that he served as vice president of human resources for Elmer's Products Inc. for seven years, where he was responsible for all human resources and administrative functions for the company. "Steve has broad-based experience in operational positions, including managing a plant and owning his own business. That operational experience, coupled with his strong human resources background is what attracted us to Steve," added Feeney.
