Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Support to Fix an Issue I had my windshield on my Lexus LS430 replaced and during this the technician accidently broke the wire harness where it connects to the rain sensor. Immediately he brought this to my attention and made it clear that Safelite would resolve this. Of course I was very skeptical but here's what transpired. The next working day I spoke with the service manager and he got the process going to get this resolved. After talking with Lexus it was determined that the wire harness would have to be replaced (~$750). Safelite ordered the part through Lexus and I worked with the Lexus dealer to get a timeslot to have this replaced. Safelite paid for all this directly with Lexus. Lexus completed the work but then found that the rain sensor would not work properly (it would activate even when there was no rain present). After troubleshooting this they determined that it was the windshield and they suggested that a different one be installed. I spoke with the Safelite manager on this and he agreed with their diagnosis and that he would order a new windshield from a different manufacturer to see if this would resolve. About a week later I returned to Safelite, they replaced the windshield and the problem was resolved. All issues resolved. Thanks to the Safelite manager for being very responsive and working with me to get this resolved. I would have provided 5 stars but had the wire not been damaged in the first place it would have saved me a few trips.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Product outcome good but getting there was hard. I called the Monday before Christmas (Christmas was on Thursday) they could not get me in or a Mobil out to me that day. Monday's are my only day off so I was going to schedule the next Monday until she said they would do Wednesday, even when i mentioned that day was Christmas eve. The person at the call center said no problem we can get you in between 2-4 that day, they were going to come to my home because I have a 1 and 5 year old and I didn't want to chance their mood and it was cold out to haul them around. I got a call Wednesday Christmas Eve about 9 am with the Mobil tech saying they were closing the shop early at 2 so if I couldn't move my appointment up we could reschedule. I was not made to wait and I understand people wanting to get home to loved ones early but I didn't like planning my whole day around it just to get it canceled. So then the Mobil tech told me he would put me on the book Monday and I would get a confirmation email on the time by the end of the day Wednesday, it didn't matter about time because I was going to be home all day Monday with the kids. Well Christmas came and went and I got no email. I called Monday morning to check what was going on and they didn't have me down for service at all. And not to mention you can not just simply call the local stores but you have to go through the call centers and explain it all. Remember I have two small kids. So in the end they say sorry and squeeze me into their busy day and come to my house and wave the 20$ Mobil fee. I'm not sure that was enough for the hassle but I got it done. The service looks to have been done well and only time will tell but it was a very small crack caused by a rock on the highway on my car I had only had for 2 months. (It is a 2008) good luck and thanks for hearing my story.
