Safelite's Lanno Appointed to Board of Directors
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Dino Lanno, senior vice president of supply chain for Safelite AutoGlass®, has been appointed to Columbus' LifeCare Alliance board of directors.
"We are thrilled to have Dino as a member of our board of directors," stated Chuck Gehring, president and CEO of LifeCare Alliance. "He brings a wealth of expertise in operations which will assist us greatly as we plan our future growth."
Since coming to Safelite® in 1989, Lanno has held numerous leadership positions in procurement, supply chain, materials management, sales, manufacturing, warehousing/distribution, and logistics. Prior to joining Safelite®, Lanno served in multiple engineering, manufacturing and management roles for WearEver Aluminum, a subsidiary of Alcoa and Hamilton Beach Proctor-Silex. He was primarily responsible for engineering and production management and small appliance design. He possesses multiple design patents.
"I'm honored by my appointment to the LifeCare Alliance board of directors," said Lanno. "This is a group dedicated to improving the lives of the most vulnerable among us. The impact of the services they provide to the homebound, elderly and chronically ill is profound I'm grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their mission and looking forward to assisting in their continued growth."
Lanno graduated from The University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and earned his master's degree in business administration from Ohio University.
