Coming soon: Safelite's Drop & GoTM service

New service option will increase customer safety and ease

As the national leader in auto glass repair and replacement, we are driven to keep our communities safe, not just in what we do, but how we do it. This past spring, in addition to following social distancing guidelines and taking extra measures to clean vehicle touchpoints, we added measures to minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19. Coming soon, our new Drop & Go option will allow customers to receive the great Safelite service they expect, with minimal contact.


Drop & Go will give your policyholders the option of leaving their vehicle in our lot while we replace their windshield, side or back glass and recalibrate their advanced safety systems. Our team will contact them as soon as their vehicle is ready. This limits the need to interact with anyone face-to-face or wait in our shop.

How it will work:

  1. Schedule a Drop & Go appointment online or by phone
  2. Drop the vehicle off by 9:30 am the morning of the appointment
  3. Leave the keys in the key drop 
  4. Get status updates including how to pay and when the vehicle is ready


While we do still have appointments with set times, please be aware that space is limited in shop locations due to social distancing requirements. We are excited to offer your policyholders this new option to help put them at ease and get them safely back on the road. Plus, with Drop & Go, if they leave their vehicle by 9:30 am, it’s ready the same day.
