How did you get started as a technician?* “After graduating from college, I was looking for a GREAT career opportunity. After researching Safelite, I was convinced it was not only a great company to work for, but that there was an opportunity for growth. I began as a repair tech and now I’ve moved on to become a replacement technician.”
What does Theron’s leader say about him? “Theron has incredible energy and enthusiasm that is infectious and certainly impacts the rest of his team in a positive manner. His performance is truly world class and helps to reinforce how fortunate we are to have Theron as part of our team. That is acknowledged by our customers daily who tell us how impressed they are with Safelite because of Theron.”
What’s the best thing about being a technician? “Simply put, what I love most about my job is helping people. I really enjoy being the reason someone smiles and making my customer’s day better.”
What’s the most memorable experience you’ve had at Safelite? “There are so many highlights that come to mind that it’s difficult to share just one. However, I would have to say winning Repair Medic of the Year is definitely the most memorable overall.”
Outside of work, what are you passionate about? “I’m most passionate about helping youth excel and stay out of trouble. After playing Division 1 Football at Washington State University, I chose to dedicate my spare time to the youth in my community. I train them in football techniques and I encourage them to be the best they can be, in every area of their life. I also help them research colleges and with scholarship opportunities.”
