Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had to come back 3 times. When I first booked my Safelite service, I was pleased by the reviews. My wife was out of town, so I had to book the appointment during my normal work hours. I scheduled the appointment for 12-5, but at while at work, the Safelite rep called me at 1000 saying he was at my house, and if I wasn't there in 15 minutes, he would have to leave. I couldn't make the appointment in that amount of time, so he left. I rescheduled for 2 weeks later. When the rep showed up, he had the wrong windshield. I then had to reschedule AGAIN for the third time. The third time the rep showed up 4 hours late, but did finally replace my windshield. When he finished, he said I owed him $500. This repair was through my insurance, and I had received no invoice from either Safelite or my insurance company at this point. I politely declined to pay the rep, saying I would discuss with my insurance. Two days later I receive a phone call from Safelite demanding I pay, otherwise they would turn my case over to collections. No warning whatsoever. The work they did on my windshield was fine, but the way they handled the entire process was atrocious.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Quality We used Safelite in the past and had really good results, but our windshield replacement last week left us with debris all over our truck and silicone adhesive all over the inside windshield and moulding (the attached photo doesn't really show it clearly, but you get the idea). It was SLOPPY work, and we can't get them to return our calls or emails requesting they fix it. We have been trying to contact them for over a week and they aren't responding. Customer service is horrible.
