3 Apps to Get You Home Safely on St. Paddy's Day

We’re here to help you stay safe in your everyday lives and St. Paddy’s Day is no exception.  We all know ride share apps are great for keeping everyone on the road safe, but there are plenty of other unique apps that can also provide some peace of mind. Here are our three favorite apps to get you home safe and sound on St. Paddy’s Day. 

Watch Over Me

Watch Over Me is an app that will be your lucky charm when walking or riding alone after a night out celebrating St. Paddy’s Day. All you have to do is set an amount of time that you want the app to keep watch on you. If you don’t tap the “I’m Safe” button by the end your set time, your emergency contacts will be notified. You can also add details like the location you’re going, pictures and other notes. The app also alerts you if you are entering a potentially unsafe area.

Parachute

If you find yourself in a panicked situation, Parachute is an extremely valuable app because it records both voice and video. As soon as you hit the Parachute icon, your emergency contacts will be alerted of your location and send a live stream straight from the camera on your phone.  Parachute continues to live stream and project location details until the phone dies, and your emergency contacts will be able to save the video to their device for evidence.
