Safelite AutoGlass® Atlanta General Manager Dan Burgess Promoted to South Regional Vice President
ATLANTA, Ga. – Jan. 16, 2013 - Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, has promoted Dan Burgess from general manager of the Atlanta market to regional vice president of the South region.
In this role, Burgess will oversee both field operations and field sales in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.
Burgess joined Safelite® in 2008 as part of the Diamond/Triumph AutoGlass acquisition. He has more than 20 years of experience in the vehicle glass industry and has held many positions, including regional director of operations, regional manager and district operations manager. He is a veteran of the United States Army, having earned an Army Commendation Medal and two Army Achievement Medals for meritorious service.
As general manager for the Atlanta market, Burgess helped increase sales volume by focusing on productivity and expense reduction. Burgess rallied his team around a committed culture of customer delight and quality improvement as evidenced by his market Net Promoter Score (customer satisfaction) rising from 84 percent to 87.4 percent within a year.
