Safelite Group Adds Three Experienced Professionals to Advance Brand-Building and Culture-Shaping Efforts
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Safelite® Group, the parent company of Safelite AutoGlass®, Safelite® Solutions, and Service AutoGlass®, has made three important new hires in its corporate office. Christina Hays joined as Vice President of Marketing; Cheri Sagona joined as Associate Vice President of Culture and Communications; and Abby Zimmerman joined as Director of Recruitment.
As VP of Marketing, Hays has leadership responsibility for developing the company’s brand strategy and executing effective and measurable marketing initiatives to support the overall company strategy for Safelite Group and its family of brands. She oversees business-to-business marketing, advertising, creative services, brand and competitive insights, as well as customer analysis and support.
She brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing. Her background includes brand transformations, innovation pipelining, and market expansions with well-known, large companies such as Abbott Nutrition, Nestle, S.C. Johnson and Bath & Body Works, where she served in progressive brand management, strategic sales, and insights and innovation roles. Hays earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and MBA from The Ohio State University.
As AVP of Culture and Communications, Sagona will support Safelite’s ongoing objective to drive business performance by creating a People Powered, Customer Driven culture. Under her leadership, the Culture and Communications team will create and implement strategies that drive the company’s ongoing cultural transformation and build experiences to make Safelite the best place employees will ever work.
With over 10 years of experience, Sagona brings a proven track record of success in large organizations such as GOJO, Tween Brands and Sterling Commerce where she’s gained strong experience in the areas of talent management, culture shaping and employee engagement, executive and leadership development, change management, job structure/organizational design and communications combined. She earned her Master’s Degree in Education at Xavier University and her Bachelor’s at Ohio Dominican and studied international business in London.
As the Director of Recruitment, Zimmerman is responsible for all recruitment strategies to help drive exceptional talent to Safelite. She comes most recently from Abbott Laboratories where she successfully hired thousands of employees in 50+ countries while streamlining processes, reducing cost and developing a thriving team. Prior Zimmerman lead Talent Acquisitions teams at Cardinal Health and JPM Chase. She is a graduate of the Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology.
