Safelite Opens San Fernando Valley Area Shop
VAN NUYS, Calif.– March 26, 2012 – Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s leading provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, opened a large new retail shop and combined warehouse in Van Nuys to better serve San Fernando Valley and Simi Valley customers with same-day mobile, in-shop service. Located at 16200 Waterman Drive, Van Nuys, CA 91406, the 9,988-square-foot facility has the capacity to stock approximately 10,000 glass units.
While Safelite AutoGlass® has traditionally only provided mobile service to the San Fernando Valley, the new retail location enables Safelite® to also offer convenient in-shop service for Valley customers. In addition, the large warehouse, stocked with thousands of vehicle glass parts, will dramatically improve Safelite’s ability to service mobile customers in the same day.
Mario Calderon serves as the store manager, overseeing 15 employees, including four new associates recently hired to support the new facility. The company expects to hold an official grand opening event in late spring or early summer.
