Customers Can Now Schedule with Handheld Devices

COLUMBUS, Ohio - April 7, 2011 - Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s leading provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, has launched a mobile version of Safelite.com, allowing customers to research service options and appointments from a mobile phone.

This simple and easy-to-use site is designed to help users find a Safelite® location, find contact mechanisms via phone or e-mail, diagnose their damage and indicate their service date/time/location preferences. If a customer elects to diagnose and provide schedule preferences, Safelite’s contact center will follow-up quickly with pricing and service details by phone.

“Today’s customers are on-the-go, and we want to be available any way they choose to come to us,” said Tom Feeney, Safelite’s president and CEO. “To our knowledge, no other company in our industry offers this service.”

Safelite® customers also can receive a quote or schedule service 24/7 at safelite.com or by calling 1-800-800-ASAP (2727). Both in-shop and mobile vehicle glass service appointments are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
