Safelite AutoGlass Opens Shop in Camarillo, CA
CAMARILLO, Calif. – Nov. 2, 2011 – The nation’s leading provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, Safelite AutoGlass®, opened a new shop in Camarillo, Calif., on October 10, 2011. Located at 3316 Maya Linda, Unit B, Camarillo, CA, 93012, the 7,000-square-foot facility holds 1,200 glass parts, to better serve area customers with same-day mobile and in-shop service. It features four service bays and a comfortable customer waiting room with Wi-Fi and satellite TV.
Safelite’s Camarillo store will conveniently serve the following communities: Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Camarillo, Fillmore, Goleta, Malibu, Mira Monte, Moorpark, Oak View, Ojai, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Santa Barbara, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, and Westlake Village.
Safelite AutoGlass® has traditionally provided this community mobile service, sending technicians to the customer’s home or office and will continue to do so. However, the new store will increase accessibility to parts, thereby enabling faster mobile and in-shop service.
Martin Medina serves as the store manager, overseeing seven employees, including five technicians. Medina expects to hire two more employees soon.
“We look forward to continuing to serve the Camarillo community in a friendly and timely manner,” said Medina. “Keeping people safe while they are in their vehicles is critical. Vehicle glass is an important element of a car’s structural integrity, and we are happy to perform inspections to identify any risky chips or provide a quote on glass damage.”
The addition of this Camarillo store is a part of Safelite’s plan to expand and improve service throughout southern California. Since 2009, Safelite® has developed a number of initiatives to provide unrivaled customer service, technical quality, and same-day service for southern California customers. Safelite’s growth in the Southwest U.S. includes:
•opening its second-largest distribution center in Ontario, Calif., in 2009
