Safelite Expands Product Availability in Vestal
VESTAL, NY - Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s leading vehicle glass repair and replacement company, will relocate its Vestal store location to313 Vestal Parkway East in mid-December with a target opening date of December 20, 2010.
The new store is part of the company’s overall growth strategy. Beginning in 2009, Safelite® invested $38 million to support growth and has made similar investments in 2010. In addition to opening the new store, the company has also:
- Opened six new warehouses, expanded five and relocated more than a dozen other existing warehouses for added inventory
- Remodeled 34 stores
- Opened its second-largest distribution center in Ontario, California and its largest distribution center in Braselton, Ga.
- Expanded inventory to allow for cross-border deliveries with Canada
- Opened its third national contact center, creating 500 immediate jobs with the potential for up to 1,000 in Phoenix, Ariz.
