Safelite Opens Store in Sandy, Utah
SANDY, Utah – June 1, 2011 Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s leading provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, has opened a new store at 83 East 11400 South Street in Sandy, Utah (ZIP 84070), so that customers may more conveniently schedule same-day in-shop service.
Easily accessible from Interstate 15, the 3,500 square-foot building features four service bays and can house 200 inventory parts. The large, customer-friendly waiting area will soon be equipped with cable television and Wi-Fi in the near future, or customers may easily walk to nearby Home Depot, Best Buy or several restaurants.
Robert Holmes will serve as store manager with seven current employees and plans to hire new technicians and service representatives.
“I’m excited that some of our long-term associates were willing to relocate to the Sandy store as this will create a seamless transition for our customers in this area,” said Brent Beck, general manager. “Some of these technicians have more than 10 years of experience installing glass for Safelite® and one service representative has been with us 34 years. They will be a tremendous asset to Sandy community members troubled by damaged vehicle glass.”
Safelite AutoGlass® currently has three existing stores in nearby Salt Lake City. Customers in the area can receive a quote or schedule service 24/7 at safelite.com or by calling 1-800-800-ASAP (2727). Both in-shop and mobile vehicle glass service appointments are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
