Winston Salem Welcomes New Safelite AutoGlass Shop

WINSTON SALEM, N.C.– Dec. 27, 2011 – Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, opened a store located at 2743 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, N.C. 27127 on December 27, 2011.

The new 4,500-square-foot facility holds 250 parts and includes four service bays. This allows more same- or next-day appointments for drivers in the area. Customers may still opt for mobile service as well. The new location is easily accessible from Business 40, I-40 and Hwy 52 and offers large, comfortable customer lobbies.

The shop currently employs four technicians and one service representative with the goal of hiring a new store manager and two more technicians next year.

“We look forward to growing our presence in the Winston Salem community and serving our customers in a friendly and timely manner,” said Joey Callahan, general manager. “Keeping people safe while they are in their vehicles is critical. Vehicle glass is an important element of a car’s structural integrity, and we are happy to perform inspections to identify any risky chips or provide a quote on glass damage.”
