Installed the wrong window took 6 hours to do it and left an incredible amount of glass in the door. Now they are refusing to come out and fix their mistakes.

Sign inside the store says "repairs and replacements warranted". Had a rock chip repaired last week. A couple of days later it ran over half of windshield. I went to the store and person at front desk said there is no warranty on repairs. I pointed out to her what the sign says IN SAFELITE STORE directly behind her desk. She said they can only refund to my insurance company the cost of the repair. When I told her that is unacceptable, she said "call customer service". I am so disappointed in Safelite. Been going there for years with many vehicles, never had a problem like this before. Unbelievable!

The repair process is an attempt to save the integrity of the glass. At times the repair may still be visible depending on the size (width and depth) of the chip. If at any time the repair spreads and or you are unhappy with the repair; the paying party will be reimbursed the full repair amount upon scheduling a replacement, if you paid for the repair out of pocket, that amount will be credited toward the full replacement of your windshield.
