installation went fine and service person was nice. First drive after installation I turned the windshield wipers. The wiper arms were misaligned, reaching about 75% of the typical coverage and the arms crashed into each other slamming into the down position. Next day, it is sunny. The interior of the glass was not completely clean, and kind of annoying, since much of the unclean area was directly in front of me. Now I have to clean the inside of the new windshield and realign the wipers. For a $1,300 repair, I don't think it is unreasonable to have a completely clean windshield and wipers that are correctly installed.
The charge for recalibration is pretty steep for a 15 minute drive.
I will not automatically call Safelite for the next repair, I'll shop around.

Windshield Run Around
Review by Tony S. on 5 Nov 2025review stating Windshield Run Around
First, all of the employees I dealt with were great. No issues here whatsoever. However, 4 cancellations all in one week, some while the vehicle was already in the shop is totally unacceptable. Three times it was for the reason the replacement glass was either damaged or unavailable, and the last time was due to staffing issues. Someone needs training on procurement and customer satisfaction! (The staff did provide me with free wiper blades for my inconvenience. )
