Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Service, and very FAST! Our windshield was broken by a rock thrown up on Hwy 20. Safelite was recommended by our insurer, for obvious reasons. They rejected the first replacement without even installing it because it was "less than perfect." But when they DID replace the original the new one was not only perfect, but the installation itself was fast, super clean, and 100% waterproof. I would recommend them most highly -- their installer did an outstanding job!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware Not an isolated incident. My insurance company uses Saflite, shame on me for thinking it would be different the second time around... My Audi was left with grease smudge marks on the interior paneling and the rear view mirror fell off 10 minutes after the tech left. Scheduled my second vehicle to get a new windshield took two months and a cancellation last minute by Saflite. After the work was completed the side moldings were clearly sticking out. The tech did not tell me about it which made it seem like he hoped I wouldn't see it until after he left. The tech was very nice and professional. Not his fault the parts are an issue. Safelite needs to address this. I'm sure I'm not the only American with a Ford SUV.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Painful experience My first appointment was scheduled between 8 am and 12 pm. At 11:55am no one had arrived, so I called. Their response was "oh ya.... that guy who was assigned to you called in sick today." That's fine people get sick but are the phones broken? I just waisted four hours of my weekend waiting for you! They then had to reschedule me another 3 weeks out on another one of my days off between 8am 12pm. Again at 11:55 am I called and they said they wouldn't make it and rescheduled me between 12pm and 3pm that same day. 2:55 pm no one shows up so I call. Response "oh ya so your windshield is actually out of town from the last cancellation. We are going to have to reschedule again so the tech can get the windshield from Bend." So after I spend 8 hours waiting at home I get reschedule again for the following week. They told me they were giving me a free set of wiper blades for all the trouble. A nice gesture but I'd rather buy my own set of ten dollar wipers and had them show up 6 weeks ago. The next week the tech actually showed up and was a really nice gentleman. Day after the install I jumped in my truck to go to work and there is apoxy all over inside my truck. He apparently put too much on and when the window sealed the glue spilled onto the interior part of the window. I'd call to have it fixed but I'm done waisting my free time on this company.
