I got a quote from safe lite around 1200$ for a front windshield replacement on a 2015 ford transit 83. 2 and every where else has quoted me around $600 why is that your price is double what everyone elses is?!?!?

Thanks for sharing. There may be some instances where we are not the lowest price. You also need to ensure the amounts quoted include everything, plus any recalibration of safety systems needed.

I was there in July 2024. To get a windshield replaced. It I now 15 months later they never got back to me. I called several times and I get a run around about my windshield. Horrible. They keep telling me they will get back to me when it comes in. Never ever had such poor service

I can't say enough about the people who work here! Joelle was at the front desk when I came in for my appointment. She went above and beyond to solve issues with my insurance then took the initiative to resolve the confusion from the multiple agents she talked to & got the work taken care of. Otto was my tech and he also made sure I understood the process and the result and how to care for the repair. They made my day! Many thanks for their attitude and their competence. I had a ding on my windshield due to a truck kicking up rocks. I called safelite auto as I had additional insurance through Allstate for this exact issue. Safelite came to my house, "fixed the chip" in my windshield. A few days later I noticed that the chip was spreading. I called again and they came to my house and claimed the chip was to big. I took my car to safelite in Bridgeport. They charged me $500. 00 deductible through USAA. They stole my rear view mirror that had garage door opener access and replaced it with a a cheap mirror. All of the sensors for windshield wipers no longer work.
