I called the dispatcher on Wednesday morning to give an update where my car was parked. The dispatcher was extremely rude on the phone, explained that the mobile service "only works inside a heated garage, not out on the street" and insisted that my original appointment would've cancelled on Wednesday anyway because my car was "completely covered in snow". After that phone call, my appointment was cancelled by the dispatcher & I was rescheduled for Thursday 10/31.
I immediately ran out to my car on Wednesday & took 2 pictures that show that my car was NOT covered in snow. Furthermore, on Thursday, I parked inside a parking garage. The tech that showed up to replace my windshield moved my car to the top level of the garage, which is NOT heated in any way, so the dispatcher's argument was completely invalid. She was just being rude and not helpful.
My repair was completed in a satisfactory manner, though a day later than scheduled, for no valid reason & the windshield looks great.
The tech that did the repair on Thursday kept me in constant communication, & I appreciate the mobile service. If, indeed, the mobile service "only" works inside a heated garage, that needs to be made more clear to your customers. The repair that took place on Thursday was outside, on the top level of a parking structure, not inside a heated garage. The outside temperature both days was similar. I am not able to attach the photos I took of my car on Wednesday to prove the repair could have taken place that day
