Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service My husband and I were traveling from Wisconsin to Ohio to visit family. On the way we were hit by a rock on our windshield. I called our agent and they connected us with safelite. They got us in right way and had the windshield fixed within a half hour. It was such a relief not to have to worry about it and the customer service was amazing!!

From the time he arrived until leaving, he worked with care and was very forthcoming in explaining the process to me. Results were super and courtesy and promptness much appreciated! A great example of Customer Service at it's best!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not sure My experience with Safe-Lite was not the greatest. My first appointment was on a Sat morning having them come to my house. The technician came, was very nice, he started working on windshield preparing it to take the windshield out. After pulling the new windshield out of the van and taking the safety tape off it he realized it was damaged and couldn't be installed. He called back to the shop and they didn't have another one at the Dayton shop so we had to reschedule. We scheduled it for the following Monday in my parking garage. He mentioned that the newer vans were bigger and may not be able to get in the garage but they would take that into account when scheduling. Monday morning I decided to call and change the appointment and take it to the shop the following Saturday. That way I wouldn't have to worry about the van not being able to get in the garage. If we ran into problems it would be at the shop and be easier to rectify. So a week after my original appointment I went to the shop. They even called to confirm my appointment. What they didn't confirm was that they had my windshield at the shop. I got the shop for my appointment. Sat in the waiting area for about half hour or so and they called me up to the window to tell me they couldn't replace it because they didn't have the windshield. I could wait 2 hours while they ran to West Chester to get the windshield, then wait another 1 1/2 hours while they installed it or reschedule. I rescheduled to have it done at work in the garage. The day of the installation the technician called and said he'd be there in minutes and asked me to meet him at the gate to the garage so I could ride with him up to the van. When he showed up he was in one the bigger taller vans and could get up the ramps. I had to go get my van and drive it to the main level and park in a Handicapped spot for him to install the windshield. Now they did knock off $100 from my deductible for the trouble I had to go through which I appreciated. I don't know of I would use Safelite again or recommend them to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Professional, Fast, Clean I had my windshield replaced on my Dodge Charger last week. This was after I got an evaluation determining they couldn't use the resin to fix the spider-webbed crack. The initial evaluator checked to see if my windshield was acoustic, because it didn't show up on their database. Sure enough it was, and the replacement unit was also acoustic. I can't tell a difference between the replacement and the OEM windshield. My installation was scheduled for 8am at the shop. I showed up 5 minutes early and they immediately took my car back for service. 40 mins later I was on my way home. Overall a great experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Rcommend - Great Service I recently used SAFELITE in Dayton (04104) to replace my cracked windshield. I opted to bring my car to their location. The service was prompt and the facility/ waiting area was very nice. I was greeted very pleasantly and given an accurate time for which my installation would be finished. The tech who worked on my car was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He was excellent! My windshield has been installed for approximately a week and it appears to have been done very well. The interior of my car was undisturbed as well. I'm very happy with the work will definitely return should the need arise. They replaced my wife's windshield a couple months prior and provided excellent service for her as well. I've had a bad experience in the past with a different company that replaced a passenger window (in a truck I previously owned). The technician actually broke the panneling on the passenger door. The company refused to remedy the situation in any way. So, I was a little anxious when trying this again. Now that the work is complete, I'm so glad I went with SAFELITE! I'll definitely be recommending them to my friends and family - especially the store on Yankee Street in Dayton for those that are local.
