The original phone call with safelite was frustrating. The customer service rep I spoke with told me that there was no one in my area who could come to me at my job or home to replace my windshield, forcing me to drive with a cracked windshield for 4 extra days. When I arrived to get my windshield replaced at the safelite location in my city, I was even more frustrated to find that I would be sitting there for 2.5 hours, which was never mentioned when I made my appointment, AND that there was someone who could’ve come to replace my windshield at my desired location on Friday. The local site reps were confused as to why the phone rep told me there was no one. And he cherry on top was that, after doing extra research, I found that safelite charges quiet a bit more than other glass repair business. I will most likely never use safelite again or suggest it to anyone.
