I am very disappointed in the service we received from Safelite. I set up the appointment with a very friendly person on the phone. It was scheduled to be done at my daughter's place of employment between 8 and 12. I was told that the car would not be able to be driven for 2 and a 1/2 hours after the appointment, so that is why I picked a morning appointment. I was also asked if we had a place to put it inside if it was raining. I said no, it's being done at a school. At 9 am on the morning f the appointment, my daughter received a phone call from Safelite asking when she was bringing the car in. She explained that they were scheduled to come to her. the response was, "Well we can't do it in the rain so you need to come here." When can you? My daughter said after work at 4. He said "Hmmm, can you be here at 4? Otherwise it might be too late." Jaclyn replies that yes, she would be there at 4. She was quite upset when she recalled that she would not be able to drive it for 2 and a 1/2 hours afterwards and the shop was closing at 5. She wasn't sure what she would do. She brought it to the shop and they changed the window. She was then told it wasn't necessary to wait and that she was able to drive it right away.
