I assumed maybe they would fit me in for a sooner appointment if he was ill, but I was also suspicious if he was that under the weather as he told me a few times. If he was that ill, I would have thought the shop itself would have called and asked to reschedule or make arrangements for another technician to make the appointment. I then questioned if he would even do a decent job replacing my windshield while feeling under the weather. I also felt guilty he was coming to replace my windshield if he was indeed ill.
I feel the whole situation was mishandled and caused me more stress and concern.
My windshield was replaced, and so far so good. There hasn't been much rain to tell if it would leak, but it seems to be holding up well.
My only complaint regarding the actual service to my car is regarding cleaning the inside. It appeared as though he wiped down the inside of my car but didn't consider the small pieces of glass. There are scratches in the plastic covering my clock and my speedometers on the dash like it was wiped with sand/glass shards.
