I had a very positive experience with Safelite in Medford, Oregon. I really appreciated their excellent time management — everything was handled promptly and professionally from start to finish.
The lobby waiting area was very comfortable, and having coffee and a TV available made the wait much more pleasant. Kathy at the front desk truly cares about her clients and made me feel welcome and well taken care of.
Louis did a great job replacing my windshield, and the quality of the work was excellent. I also appreciated the text reminders before my appointment and the helpful follow-up message the next day reminding me to remove any remaining tape from the glass.
Overall, outstanding customer service and workmanship. Highly recommended!

Super nice guy that you can tell cared about his job !! The windshield frame was rusted and he did his absolute best with what he had to work with instead of just slapping the windshield in and be done . He had a few more to do that day but still took his time and did a very professional job !!

My 2020 car took a rock to the windshield and started to crack immediately so called Safelite (Medford Oregon) to set up a repair. . . this is where things went off the rails.
Visit #1) They couldn't come to me (so much for that convenience) so I left work early to have my windshield replaced. $1,200 later, new glass in and all is well. . . or so I thought!
Visit #2) Had to schedule a warranty appointment when windshield was leaking after just a few weeks. Sadly, they still wouldn't come to me so I again, had to leave work to go to them. The Tech had a very bad attitude, and I was obviously an inconvenience to him. He stated it could be the temp differential between inside vehicle and weather outside (odd as the windshield never leaked before). After his explaining that he "poured water on the windshield and it isn't leaking" I left frustrated and car went unrepaired.
Visit #3 - Left home early for work this morning and after warming the car remotely, I get in the car to have the entire drivers side of window dripping wet from dew so now I am forced to spend another 3+ hours at this shop in HOPES that they'll actually fix it right this time!
My advice to you - HAVE YOUR GLASS REPAIRED ELSEWHERE. This shop does mediocre work. . . at best

Today, I contacted Safelite to get a ding repaired. First time through, I couldn't get an appointment in the foreseeable future. Second or third time I could get an appointment and my insurance agreed to pay for the repair. I get to safelite and they want $164 to fix the ding in the windshield and I can go back to my insurance to get reimbursed, they say. What happened to the insurance picking up the cost? I tried talking to safelite on line, but they say I'm talking to say Brianna T but it is really AI, a computer. It is one thing to talk to a computer, it is another for it to be implied I'm talking to a person, and not. I was unable to get anything straightened out, the AI wasn't programmed for it.
