Had a glass repair on the windshield of my truck last fall, that spread across the glass within a few months. Safelite offers to apply this to a replacement if the repair fails, so i contacted them immediately to schedule a replacement. I took the day off work to allow for the 5 hour appt window. They showed up with a damaged replacement, but still offered to install it in the damaged state. I declined, and they told me i would need to reschedule another day. I explained i scheudled a vacation day to get this done. I got several scripted form texts, but nothing of any value except "you need to call our shop." Pathetic customer service, apparently they dont need the business. I would have given a zero if it would let me. I have set an appointment with another local company which will cost more without the credit for the repair, but I will not spend another dime with Safelite. I do not recommend Safelite under any circumstances, spend your hard earned money with a local shop and save the dissappointment!!
