Windshield Replacement Shop in Santa Cruz, CA

I came today to repair 1 impact on my windshield and I got receive by a patronizing and dismissive person sugarcoating her communication.
She checked my car and announced she had to repair 3 impacts (2 were already filled but she answered me: "I've worked for years in this field, I know my expertise" and "I believe you, anyway we will repair 3 impacts" followed by her smiling while saying "your windshield might crack, it's really hot today and riskier" completely unbothered). She also told me to leave my keys and leave because it was only drop off that day and they had hours of delays.

I took my car back and left before any further damage could be done on it.

Both times I have come into this location, I was met with an employee with very poor communication skills who also lied to me about out of pocket versus insurance claims and refunds. They almost ensure you will have to come back to them as hteir workmanship is shoddy, encouraging bigger cracks and more expenses to be paid to Safelite and/or insurance. They need a new manager as the current manager has poor customer relation skills and has a very low threshold of frustration for handling customers' grievances. This results in a snarky sarcastic tone, negative body language.

Very easy to schedule online, Great communication, good service.

Technician did an excellent job repairing my broken windshield.
