Although convenient, it has been a difficult experience with Safelite. My Audi Q7 had its windshield wipers put back on incorrectly after installation causing the threading to immediately strip out when activated. After Safelite had me go get a quote from an Audi shop for repair, they opted to wait and send a tech with spare parts out to fix it themselves. Two day later the windshield wipers tangled up with each other and stripped once again. The tech returned and just tightened the nuts so hard to force the wiper arm to hold in the absence of the threads. This of course makes me very nervous in the event they fail and get tangled up during a rainstorm on the highway. In fact, I don't know if I am willing to accept this as a solution to the damage they caused.

Also the 24 inch wiper blade, presumably aftermarket, was replaced with a 20 inch blade, leaving gaps in the wiping range where there was none before.

Thirdly the inside right trim running alongside the windshield has been frayed where the tech must have aggressively rubbed some kind of wedging tool against it, causing damage to the fabric. When I mentioned this to the tech that came to repair the wiper arm, they sort of just shrugged.
