Great Job, but POOR customer service
I scheduled service a week after my windshield cracked. In the time between the windshield cracking and the service, a close family member of mine died. The funeral was to take place on the day of the funeral so i asked a friend to meet the safelite tech to do the service because i didnt think it was fair to cancel and take someones appointment. The morning of the appointment they called and cancelled.
I was then scheduled for 5 days later on a Monday. I was told the tech would be there between 9-12PM. The tech called me at 2:30 to tell me he'd be there in a half hour. He didnt show. On the way home from work (where my car was being serviced) at 5:30 PM, he called to say hed be there momentarily. I told him I waited all day for him and left. He asked me to call and reschedule, which i told him i was not doing.
Telling people youll be there between a certain time means to be on time. There is a safelite less than a 1/2 mile from my office. If I had known that it would have been this frustrating i would have just dropped the car there. Them coming to me is supposed to be EASY and it was not. When i called to complain, i was told id be given to the local safelite office and no one even bothered to pick up the phone.

Do not use their mobile service
I have had 2 appointments scheduled with Safelite this week. I am still waiting for someone to show up! After waiting for the entire 4 hour window for a technician to show up, I called Safelite and was told my appointment had been cancelled two days prior on a voice message. I never received a voice message. I rescheduled for a second time and after waiting for 4 hours, again, no technician ever arrived. That's when I went online to read the reviews. They were awful. It seems like my experience is not unique. If you live in the Yonkers area, do not schedule a mobile appointment.
