Randy Randolph, Safelite AutoGlass Foundation Chairman, Receives National Leadership Award from Boys & Girls Clubs of America

COLUMBUS, Ohio – (James) Randy Randolph, Safelite® Group Vice President of Real Estate and Market Development and Safelite AutoGlass® Foundation Chairman, recently received the Jeremiah Milbank Gold Medallion, which is the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s highest honor that can be bestowed upon a board member. The award is given to only one board member each year from the Midwest Region, which includes more than 500 organizations in 11 states.

Randolph is credited with providing leadership that is having a positive impact on the entire Boys & Girls Clubs Movement. As Safelite AutoGlass’ Foundation Chairman, Randolph has been on the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus Board of Directors since 2006 and served as Board President from 2010-2013, and currently serves as the President of the Board of the Ohio Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs.

Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus, Rebecca Asmo said that Randolph’s leadership and vision has put the Club on track to realize a growth goal of serving 10,000 youth by 2020.

“Randy is one of the most dedicated volunteers I have ever met,” Asmo said. “Whenever he is asked to give time he steps up to the plate.”

In addition to his local work in Columbus, Randolph’s leadership has also helped to strengthen the Ohio Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs and helped the entity raise millions of dollars for youth throughout Ohio.

“Randy has spearheaded the turnaround of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbus from a small, struggling organization to one that is now a leader in the Central Ohio community,” Asmo said. “Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus is now seen as an innovator in the national Boys & Girls Clubs movement thanks to Randy’s dedication.”
