I used Safelite because my insurance company reimbursed for the service. The technician came to my house on a hot day. He got the windshield replaced without any problems. Then, he tried for over two hours to get the mobile technology to recalibrate the safety systems. He finally told me that I needed to take the car to Safelite. Said the mobile technology did not work well with Honda CR-Vs. The closest Safelite is an hour & 10 minutes from my house. I gave up a Saturday afternoon to drive over, sit for 90 minutes, & drive home. My advice to Safelite: choose technology that will work well with one of the most popular cars on the road & make sure all mobile technicians know how to use the technology. In my case, I paid in time & gas to resolve a problem that should have been fixed in my driveway. Everyone I dealt with was polite & professional, & I have no complaints about the work. I was not entirely satisfied with my experience. I would not recommend mobile service for a friend who owns a CR-V.
