I recently had the windshield chip on my 2022 Dodge ram 1500. The technician from Bowling Green Ky who came out was Lori Rigsby. The chip looks exactly as it did before the repair. I reached out to her about my dissatisfaction and her reply was not all the repairs work. I called Safelite corporate office and was told their repair people never make mistakes, and they are not responsible but would install a new windshield or my insurance deductible and the manager of that store would call me back. They have not made any attempt to contact me to fix this issue. I have been in the automobile industry for 17 years. It would never recommend Safelite to anyone.

We're sorry to hear that the repair attempt did not meet your expectations. The repair process is only an attempt to save the integrity of the glass, at times the repair may still be visible depending on the size (width and depth) of the chip. If at any time the repair spreads and or you are unhappy with the repair; that amount will be credited toward the full replacement of your windshield.
