Review by MATTHEW on 29 Dec 2022review stating Easy
Safelite installed a new windshield for me and did a great job! After trying to have them come to my place of work but getting rained out twice I decided to just take my vehicle to them which ended up being just as easy and convenient. The only thing I could recommend is for the information they gave about my inspection stickers to be more accurate. When I first made the appointment with the national number they told me the stickers would be put on the new windshield which isn't what happens. When I picked up my vehicle they told me that I could take the cut out inspection stickers to a local place and they would print out new ones and place on my windshield for a minimal cost ($6-8). This isn't what happened either. The place I took it to said the cost is state determined and it ended up costing me a total of $28. I feel that Safelite should have known this and shared accurate information. Other than that everything was great.

Really Dissapointed
Review by GUY on 17 Dec 2022review stating Really Dissapointed
I was very dissatisfied with this whole process. 3 different techs came to my home over a several week period, making me stay home waiting for them and could not replace windshield. Then I was told they did not have the part in stock. This took several months during which I did not hear from Safelite. I called 3 times during this period and was finally told it was in, but I needed to come to the shop. I drove to the shop about 1/2 hour drive. When I was there I was told they had the wrong part. I was 1/2 way home when I got a call that it was the right part after all. I drove back and the windshield was replaced. On my drive home I noticed none of my sensors were working. They had not been calibrated with the new windshield. I took it back, another hour round trip and finally it seems to be working. Total invested hours on my part 13.
