Called safelite to come and do a repair on a rock ding on the 2024 truck and when the guy got here to fix the ding you could tell he was completely new to the job and had absolutely no idea what he was doing so with that being said during the service the suction cup on my windshield came off and cracked it from top to bottom left to right now they refuse to make things right with a new windshield but quoted me $1000 dollars to replace their mess up and they are wanting me to pay for things to be done that are not necessary

The repair process is an attempt to save the integrity of the glass. At times the repair may still be visible depending on the size (width and depth) of the chip. If at any time the repair spreads and or you are unhappy with the repair; the paying party will be reimbursed the full repair amount, if you paid for the repair out of pocket, that amount will be credited toward the full replacement of your windshield.
