I had my windshield replaced by Safelite in Hickory NC at their shop. I drove it for a week or 2 and contacted them to say the collision indicator seemed off. They sent someone to my location (1. 5 hours away) to recalibrate the front camera. He indicated the calibration was correct, then left. A day after that, the front collision and other items using the front camera stopped working. I texted the tech who worked on it to report it and he said I need to bring it back to Hickory for them to look at it. I'm busy and couldn't get free , then later made an appointment for a Saturday, but was informed the recalibration was out of warranty and I will have to take to the Dealer to it fixed. Say what? The tech did not say I had 30 days or less to get it to their shop to get it fixed. I now have to bear the expense to fix their mistake! No more safelite for me. Beware! They should stand by their work for the amount of $ I paid them.
