The technician broke one of my windshield wiper blades either intentionally (for not agreeing to buy new ones from you) or by accident - I don't know which. Either way, I wasn't told about it and the first time it rained I had to drive to work with a broken wider which was very dangerous!!!.

My glass was broken on May 19, 2023. It took until last week for the OEM glass to arrive to Safelight And for me to finally get the broken glass replaced at the shop.. After multiple calls, conversations and confirmations that the glass that was being taken out was exactly what was being put in. I was assure that it was. It was only after The windshield was replaced when I got in the vehicle that I realized it was not. There was a 30% transparency on the glass that was removed from my vehicle and the glass that was put in while OEM glass for a volkswagon, it had no Transparency number. It was only after the glass was installed when I actually asked to look at the old glass and match it to the new glass number that I made this realization. had I’ve been showing the glass before it was put in and had a chance to compare myself I would’ve made that decision probably not to have it installed and wait for the actual true replacement OEM glass. My eyes could tell the difference because I am a glasses wearer And cannot wear sunglasses over top of my glasses. I was very disappointed.
William, the technician was the person that made my repair and did a fine job. I did express my discontent afterward though, and there was no manager on duty because it was a Saturday. I shared my feedback with William. I expected a follow up this week, but did not hear back. I will try myself next week To reach out to the manager. I did not have an opportunity due to business travel this week.

The repair process is only an attempt to save the integrity of the glass, at times the repair may still be visible depending on the size (width and depth) of the chip. If at any time the repair spreads and or you are unhappy with the repair; that amount will be credited toward the full replacement of your windshield.
