100% satisfied with the service I received from the Safelite service technician. For the life of me, I can’t remember his name, but he was timely, qualified, tidy, and efficient. There’s a lot of tech that goes into the replacement of a windshield these days —what with the cameras and the motion detection and whatever else the hell they put in these cars these days. The folks that show up on site to do the work really have to know what they’re doing. . Safelite clearly does. There’s one question I have that will remain forever unanswered: after the truck work was completed, and the windshield was successfully replaced with all the bells and whistles, I received instructions not get the car washed for two days and don’t put the car on a lift. OK, I get it. Maybe the water will affect the adhesion on the windshield fluid, but the lift? I’ve never put the car on a lift, but still. Why?

My insurance company lined me up with Safelite. I had no previous experience with them. They were very polite and professional, including when I had to re-schedule at the last minute. When I arrived on the scheduled day, I was greeted warmly, and given an estimate of the expected repair time and the insurance deductible amount due upon completion. The replacement was completed well under the expected time, and there were no unexpected additional charges. I was given explicit instructions concerning things to avoid while my windshield was in its first few days after installation. I was very happy with my experience, and would have no hesitation working with Safelite again, and would highly recommend Safelite to others needing auto glass replacement.
