I made a claim online to repair a chip / crack. I measured the crack and when your representative arrived, he said he couldn't fix the cracks coming from the chip, only the chip itself. He repaired the chip, but the cracks still remained. This is exact verbiage from your website in the box I checked when scheduling: quote "I have three or fewer chips or cracks smaller than six inches. "
Am I to expect that these cracks won't be fixed like the chip was? The representative said the cracks were not completely through the windshield but from one of the layers of glass the windshield is made from.
could the rep have fixed these cracks? Other wise I would have just replaced my windshield and paid for the simple repair.

The repair process is an attempt to save the integrity of the glass. At times the repair may still be visible depending on the size (width and depth) of the chip. If at any time the repair spreads and or you are unhappy with the repair; the paying party will be reimbursed the full repair amount upon scheduling a replacement, if you paid for the repair out of pocket, that amount will be credited toward the full replacement of your windshield. Timothy with Safelite was spectacular. Very skilled and experienced, quiet and sure of himself but not cocky. Able to think outside the box and figure things out that weren't obvious. Patient, and extremely careful navigating areas he wasn't sure of to minimize breakage of fragile plastic connectors. Persistent with frustrating pieces that did not want to go back together, but never lost his temper or became irritable, and ultimately successful! I would have him back to work on one of our windows in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!

I had an appointment set for 4/20 from 8a-12p and no one showed up, no phone calls, nothing! At 12:30p I called and was told the part did not come in and they would have to schedule an appointment when it arrived. I was told they would call me and set another appointment then I get a text that they want me to pay more money even though I have already paid almost $700. They also set an appointment for me at a time when I couldn't go and at the store not my address. I then tried to contact on 4/21 and got customer service. I was on hold for 10 minutes before they answered and then they put me back on hold for another 5 minutes. She then tells me that the appointment is for the part and then the will call me and set up an appointment. I asked to talk with someone at the local office and they put me on hold for another 10 minutes then I was transferred to another agent not in the local office. She wanted to put me on hold again mind you I am at work and really don't have the time. This is a JOKE!
