I would highly recommend Safelite. I made the appointment one day and the tech was there by 9:15 the next morning. Plus you can't beat the convenience of having them come to you. The tech was great. He was very knowledgeable and personable. The job was done in about 2 hours which included re-calibration.

Took my vehicle in for a scheduled appointment. Appointment was at 3pm, I arrived at 2pm to drop off my vehicle. One of the employees had a really bad attitude towards something and it showed. Not something you want customers to see coming from an employee only area. I got to the window to let the gentleman with locs know I was there for my appointment, to which he took my info and had me sign a document. He was nice but I feel misled but his statement about having to apply pressure to the damage and it could spread a little but it rarely happens. IT DEFINITELY SPREAD AND LOOKS HORRENDOUS! I got notified at 3:35 that my vehicle was in service, so they were late. As I sat outside waiting, my vehicle was done being serviced at 3:50. I did not receive a call or text about it and still haven't as I sit and write this at 4:45 pm. They just handed me my keys and I went on my way, only to notice that the crack had spread way worse! Now I fear i have to get the windshield replaced and I feel like this was done intentionally.

The repair process is an attempt to save the integrity of the glass. At times the repair may still be visible depending on the size (width and depth) of the chip. If at any time the repair spreads and or you are unhappy with the repair; the paying party will be reimbursed the full repair amount upon scheduling a replacement, if you paid for the repair out of pocket, that amount will be credited toward the full replacement of your windshield.
