Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed results The replacement windows I got for my CR-V seems to fit well and was a good value. I'm not sure the replacement trim matches what was there before. My biggest complaint was how they cleaned the windows as part of the service. My windows were dirty when I took it in and I didn't expect them to be cleaned. But apparently that's part of the service. Rather than clean the windows they just smeared the windows to the point where I had to clean them again on a snowy day. I'd you are going to do a service, don't make it worse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick, efficient and VERY clean installation The technician that came out was on time, well trained and ready to get started as soon as he (Jim) pulled up. He protected the inside of the car and removed the old windshield faster than I would have believed possible. The new glass was installed with no damage to the car or smeared adhesive anywhere. All in all a very well done professional installation at a reasonable price. After the installation was complete, I tested my heater fan to see if something had fallen into the vents. Sure enough, as soon as I turned it on, there was a distinctive rattle and rumbling at high speed. I called Safelite and was instructed to bring my car into the local shop so that a tech could troubleshoot the problem. As expected, the problem was isolated to the blower, something that the Safelite shop was not equipped to inspect or repair. The tech suggested that I take the car to my regular mechanic for analysis/repair. He told me that, if the problem was the result of the work done by Safelite, Safelite would reimburse me for the the repair. As it turned out, the problem was caused by an old ticket from a parking garage that had gotten into the vents and had been sitting just before the blower for more that 5 years (according to the timestamp on the ticket). Apparently, when the windshield was removed, the ticket was dislodged and fell further into the ventilation duct. When I turned the fan on to test it, the ticket was sucked into the impeller where it lodged between 2 of the blades causing an imbalance that resulted in the high speed rumbling. The problem was NOT the result of anything that the Safelite tech did. It was simply a problem that was just waiting to happen. At every step, the Safelite folk were very helpful and ready help find a solution.
