We had our 2014 Acura MDX original windshield replaced late April 2026 by Safelite. After less than 2 months and 1000 miles, the windshield developed a crack which appeared to have started under the seal on the passenger side. When Safelite came to our house and looked at it they stated it was caused from a road hazard even though there was no physical evidence/damage to the windshield surface. They wanted full price to replace it and I told them to take a hike. We took it to two different local glass shops and without giving them any details they both said it looked like either a manufacturing flaw or installation flaw. With that being said, I wouldn't recommend Safelite for any glass replacement as they didn't even offer a discount for a questionable assessment. My advice, go with a reputable local company as they are more concerned with customer satisfaction than a nationwide company (i. e. Safelite).

Rearview mirror came un glued from the windshield. Stopped by the store in Hoover Alabama, they looked at it they fixed it and there were no charges since they replaced the windshield 10 years ago. No waiting, no hassle, no disappointment! You cannot go wrong with Safelite.

for 1st apmt. I waited 2 hrs to be told they had the wrong windshield for my car. I had called in advance to as that they make sure they had it right since this had happened before. they assured me that with the VIN# it should be right. I had to be reschedule for a 2nd apmt. the same thing happened and they blamed it on Mercedes. The man in charge would not give me his name when I asked. He also said I had not paid until I showed him evidence of the pending charge on my credit card. I would not use this vendor!
