The short story was I was turned away at my first appointment (after I arrived) as you had the wrong glass for my car. It was the right fit, but you believed it would not calibrate. So, you ordered an OEM windshield. Next day I was called by another employee that was responsible for 2 locations. She asked me if I knew why 2 OEM windshields had been ordered for my car. Apparently the one they were worried about was already an OEM and they ordered a duplicate when I was there. I made an appointment and this time they took the car, but it took 4 1/2 hours because they struggled with calibration. In the end workmanship is what counts and this was excellent. The windshield looked exactly like the original and all my stickers/toll tag were placed back on the replacement. Also, the OEM was $300 cheaper than the original quote. A nice surprise.

Safelite replaced my windshield and I added the optional rain repel treatment. Two days later when driving in the rain, the windshield was almost impossible to see out of. Later when driving at night and the windshield was also nearly impossible to see out of due to glare. Upon inspection under light, there's a hazy film all over the windshield and after several car washes and cleanings with glass cleaner, this hazy residue will not come off. Not sure if the rain repellent was poorly applied or the windshield had original defects that caused this haze, but either way reflects poor workmanship in completing the job to leave it in this condition. Safelite will now need a second appointment to replace the windshield, hopefully second try gets it right. Just thankful I was the one driving alone and it didn't have the chance to endanger my family.
