Had the glass shop ran my vin or even looked at the vehicle description they would have known that they couldn’t complete the job. I would have gone to the dealer in the first place and the duplicated efforts would have been avoided.
Communication. Check the jobs you accept and communicate with the customer in advance so they can make the best decision. Finding out at the time of service is no different than getting there and not having the windshield.
I’ve had good prior experiences with Safelite. This was not one of those.
