Upon inspection, I noticed the screw cover in the door handle was missing. Installer said something like "Yeah, I saw that fly somewhere, but I don't know where.(Long pause as I awaited a suggestion on how this was going to be handled.) We'll have to order you a part and come back to install it."
Next, when I closed the door there was a very loud rattle of glass falling within the door. It sounded like maracas. The look on the installer's face said "Oh, boy." After we recreated the issue a few times, he explained that there was probably glass in hard to reach areas of the door that remained after he vacuumed it. He said it was probably falling down and that they would address the issue when they came back to replace the missing screw cover. He suggested I drive with the rattle until then, so the rest of the broken glass could work its was out of the hard to reach area. At the time, this felt like a brush-off, but I assumed they had a schedule to stick to, and at least my car was now drivable
I also saw some 3-4 inch strips of what looked like weather striping/insulation foam on the ground. I haven't seen inside the door yet, but my fear is that they were ripped off when the door was removed, and not glued back in place.
It has been 55 days since my installation with no follow up or remedy to the glass rattle in the door, or exposed screw. I hesitated for a long time to leave a negative review, but at this point, I feel like I was really brushed off for the sake of expediency.
