More concerning though was my hood. While driving home, my hood nearly flew open. I had to pull over and latch it correctly. Thank goodness for the safety latch that held it in olace until I could stop.
Finally, I left in my notes as well as explained over the phone the morning of the repair that I teach (he repaired my car I. The school parking lot) and that i would have a break at 10:30 to come out and pay. We arranged to pay over the phone to make it easier. From the time he finished (around 10:15) until my break mentioned above (10:30) he called nearly every minute and sometimes twice a minute (approximately 13 times), interrupting my instruction in class. I understand that he needed to confirm payment, but we were both very clear on the agreed upon time that I could answer the phone. When he initially called, I offered to meet him to pay first because I had a co-teacher during that class period who could watch our class while I met him in the parking lot. I also offered to leave a card in the car to charge. He chose to take payment after he was finished.
I simply had a better experience the last time I used Safelite.
WV kept in contact with me and let me and verified the order and location. My service tech Benjamin called in the morning to let me know when he would be arriving in the early afternoon and again about 20 minutes before he arrived. He was courteous and efficient.
