Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never again I had a broken rear window in my van. The tail gate was working perfectly when I took it in. The installer opened and closed it several times during the installation. Once the window was installed, I no longer opened. They worked on it for an hour to no avail. I had to leave, but brought it back the next day. They finally forced it open, but by this time the latch was broken so it would not stay closed. They vacuumed a little bit (no where near all the glass), and said they couldn't fix it. I took it to the Chrysler dealer who ordered a new latch. They installed it a few days later - at MY expense. We were left with a van full of glass and the rear wiper not put back on. At this point, I did not want them to do any more damage to my van, so we installed the wiper ourselves. Of course, they were paid in full before they started to work on the van! If this is the way Safelite does business, I will never use them or recommend them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Car Repair Ever! Recently had a large crack appear on my 2008 Honda Oddessy Van. With 3 children starteng school and one at home sick child, I could not make into a repair shop. I was able to go online make an appointment to have Safelink come to us, find out the cost , and get the repair done in less than 48 hours. Polite and knowledgable repair man, and great entertainment fo the sick child who now wants to work at SAFELITE! Would recommend to anyone who doesn't have the time to wait around at the repair shop! Online coupon code made it the same price as going into the shop!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Our vehicle was damaged. Safelite staff were friendly and accommodating, however it did not go well. The replacement took an hour longer than stated. There was an drafty, windy sound as we drove, and the rearview mirror shook. Then next day it rained and rain POURED into my vehicle. It completely soaked the carpet and seat. When we called to tell them that the rain was pouring into our vehicle, we did not even get an apology or much concern on how to fix the problem, we were just told that they we booked up for the next couple of days. We took it into a Safelite shop at a different location from the one we were calling to have the replacement windshield replaced. It was discovered by the person in the shop that the person who originally replaced the window did not use sealer around the whole windshield which caused the horrible leak. It was also discovered that he had scratched and gouged the roof of our vehicle above the windshield on the passenger side. He did not inform us of this happening and instead took black primer paint and tried to cover it up. We were glad that the man in the shop was honest and showed us, but not happy that the previous young man had tried to hide the scratch. Safelite did pay to have our vehicle cleaned of the water damage, did not charge us for the second replacement and will also pay to have our paint job fixed. We are just not happy that we have had take time off of work to have the vehicle cleaned, more time to have a second replacement and now we need to find time to get estimates for the pain damage and take time to have the paint damage fixed and be without a vehicle to have it fixed. What should have been a convenient service has cause much inconvenience. We are not sure we will use Safelite in the future.
