Rated 2 out of 5 by from Long wait for appointment, good service eventually 2 weeks is a long time to wait for an appointment. Especially when you have no back window and cannot drive your vehicle. Luckily I had a garage I could leave my car in the meantime. The offer to stop by and get plastic put on my back window is nice, but really a bit useless when you live in a city. If the San Francisco location is truly that busy the company should hire more people. The service when the appointment date arrived was fine. I was given a reasonable time frame, and they showed up a few minutes before the very end of it. Since I had vacuumed and cleaned my car previously I wasn't super happy that there were more glass shards in my car after they replaced the window, even though a 'cleaning and removal fee' is charged. The service provider was nice enough and the window was replaced, but it wasn't a good enough experience to rate this service as anything better than 'fair'.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The service was ok but they took FOREVER The service was ok but they took FOREVER to give me an apt. The first set the apt like 2 1/2 weeks after I called them, then they called to say they still didn't have the glass (which my mechanic was able to get in 2 days but he couldn't work with the terms and conditions of the insurance) and then they set another apt for almost 3 weeks after. Which meant my glass was broken for like a month and half before they repaired it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad scheduling, but once there = friendly and easy Had a LOT of issues with the appointment itself (I blame the store manager and lack of communication between the headquarters and the local store for this), but the manager did majorly make up for it by giving me a discount and apologizing profusely. What also made up for this was that the technician was great. Knew exactly what he was doing and took about an hour at my house to install the new window.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great service...on the second visit I made an appointment for 1pm. When I arrived, on the door it said they'd be back from lunch at 1pm. Even though there were workers in the shop, no one came out to greet me till after 1:30pm. The area around the shop was full of cars. I was asked to retrieve my car parked a block away and bring it to the shop. Once I brought it to the shop, I couldn't get it into the driveway because a Safelite van driver wouldn't move his van to let me into the entrance. Once I was able to get the car into the shop, it was 2:30pm before an attendant came out and said my windshield crack was too close to the edge of the windshield and it would have to be replaced at another visit. I ended up wasting an hour an a half to be told they couldn't do the work. I was smart to insist on a 1:30pm appointment for my return visit to make sure they'd made it back from lunch. The windshield replacement as it was quick and without problems.
