Rated 2 out of 5 by from Satisfied with the re-placement windshield When I went to Safelite AutoGlass in SF on 16th st. I was a little disappointed to see there was no one to really attend to you at the front desk customer service desk. It seems there are short staff at this location and the wait time is really long. Other than that the service is good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The crack on my windshield is getting bigger First of all, I had an in home appointment (made through Geico) that I waited around all afternoon for, and nobody showed up or called me. A few days later I received a call and because of my schedule, I had to schedule another appointment at a SafeLite location in San Francisco. They were ready for me and on time, and mentioned that their goal was to repair the "structural integrity" of the windshield, so it may not look perfect and there may still be a little mark (a "small smudge" is how he described it). Unfortunately, they did not have the windshield wiper replacement I had asked for weeks prior to the appointment. When they fixed the windshield, I immediately noticed that it still looked very cracked, and that the repair left much more than a "small smudge". I believe the crack is getting larger on both sides now. I don't know what to do about this-- if it is not getting larger, it certainly looks worse than it did before.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst experience at a business! I went to repair a tiny chip at the bottom of my windshield and 20 min later left with an 8 inch crack down the center of my windshield. Manager tells me as we are walking to my car that after he finished repairing my chip he noticed a large crack that started from the top of my windshield. Told him it wasn't there when I pulled in (Both of us went over the entire windshield before he started and there was no crack at the top. He said things happen and it could have been from a previous chip. He wouldn't admit anything and told me to call my insurance company to file a claim. shop was at 16th street in San Francisco. Would never recommend this shop to anybody!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor customer service experience I dropped my car off on Saturday at 3pm, having had a reservation two days in advance. When I got there I was told the window had not arrived for my car that day. I asked why no one notified my and the service technician had no answer. The technician told me the window should have been dropped off at 1pm with the other deliveries, however, that did not happen. I was then told it could be fixed by Monday, which did me no good as I needed the car the following week because I was going out of town. I instead was forced to leave it at the shop. I proceeded to email the assistant store manager two times over the course of the next several days to see what sort of compensation I would receive for my time, and not having my car. I never received an email reply. I was notified on Wednesday my car window had been replaced. I went to pick up the car the following Sunday.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saved by Safelite I used them a week ago to get a couple of cracks in my window fixed. The only thing I did not like was having to drive to San Francisco, it would have been more convenient if they had appointments available for mobile assistance. Great service otherwise

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disorganised but pleasant and courteous staff Cracked windshield needed replacement, van came to house couldn't repair it at my apartment needed OEM windshield. Called office organized appointment. Team reassured me that they would have the OEM windshield, Arrived for appointment on time. Waited 25 mins, told that they had the wrong windshield. Gave me the managers number so I could discuss it with him. No answer 3 calls. Team very courteous but essentially couldn't change a windshield which is the businesses prime purpose
