Fast, friendly service
I came in for a windshield replacement, which I had already rescheduled several times, and found the wrong windshield had been ordered. The guys at Safelite were very helpful and found another one that would fit my car in their inventory so I didn't have to reschedule again. Everyone was very kind and the actual service was quick.

Great service by these guys!
These guys are always pleasure work with (talking about the Safelite location on 16th Street in San Francisco). They checked me in earlier, took less than an hour to fix my glass, and vacuumed my whole car, not only where the broken glass was! Very highly recommend them!

Lazy work
I recently had the rear glass replaced on the tailgate of my sport utility vehicle. They told me not to wash it etc. When I recently opened the tailgate for the first time you can hear all the broken glass shift inside the tailgate (I was the victim of a vehicle theft). Apparently they didn't thoroughly vacuum or clean out the glass. I went to Safelite because it is the preferred vendor for my auto insurance. I'm not sure if ai would choose them on my own. A dealership may have been more thorough.

Our technicians normally do a great job with cleanup but cannot always get all of the glass. It is highly recommended to have your vehicle professionally detailed after an incident with shattered glass. A professional detail shop is better equipped to handle a cleanup such as this. Just wanted a price quote.
I'm told by customer service, apparently it takes 5-7 days just to get me a price quote. I've called 3 days now and no one can tell me if they even have the glass im looking for. Only answer i'm getting is that the "glass is pending" whatever that means. I'm calling to see if you have the glass and how much, which apparently no one can answer in the first 3 days. Maybe someone will reply in the next 4 days.
