1-The Allstate link to Safelite to set up the appointment was cumbersome with too many windows and I got a confirmation e-mail shortly after I set up the appointment. There was no indication that a follow up was required until I saw the 2nd e-mail by chance the night before the appointment.
2-The fix was great and the tech vacuumed out the debris inside the car. One problem arose that may or may not be due to the replacement. a few days after the replacement I got gas and when I got back in the car something was stabbing me under my leg. It was a broken exacto blade. There would be no other reason for an exacto to have been inside my car. My seats are gray so I suspect it was in the seam crease and not noticeable and when I got back in that time it shifted in just the right way to poke me. No injury - just a note of caution to be passed on to the technician in case there was a broken blade during the installation.
